A connected visual system supporting statewide conversations around a healthier, more equitable food future.
The Challenge
The Michigan Good Food Summit brings together people working across Michigan’s food system,
while the Michigan Good Food Charter provides a shared vision for long-term change. The challenge was to create a visual experience that connected these related initiatives, organized a large amount of information, and felt welcoming to a broad statewide audience.
The Approach
I built the creative direction around the idea that good food is shaped by people, place, and shared effort. The design uses familiar food and agricultural imagery, approachable typography, and an energetic color palette to make complex topics feel clear, relevant, and connected to everyday life in Michigan.
